Product Description
Clarion stemware is a delight to behold, appealing to a consumer with a cleaner more contemporary design aesthetic. Clarion exudes sophistication! The square base and stem make the stemware unique in the market. As the square stems evolve geometrically into the lightly cut trumpet shaped bowls, the entire stem takes on a unique form. Each member of the suite are perfectly proportioned, providing drama to the entire table-setting.

Amazon.com Review
At the inception of their company, Waterford Crystal founders, William and George Penrose, pledged to "create the finest quality crystal for drinking vessels and objects of beauty for the home"--a goal that has been reached and still holds true over 200 years later. One reason for Waterford's continued success is that the company continues to uphold its heritage of using skilled artisans to individually craft each piece into an original, just as it did in the late 1700s.

Part of the Clarion collection, this iced beverage glass is an elegant vessel in which to served Long Island iced tea, Caribbean Punch, or other similar cocktails. This style, introduced in November 1993, has simple, sculpted lines and pairs well with a contemporary dinnerware pattern. The glass has a square base and lower stem that flares out into a trumpet-shaped bowl with a soft, rounded rim. Five deep wedge cuts rise up each of the stemware's four sides, creating a dazzling prismatic effect when they catch the light. Buyers may feel confident about purchasing a solid, well-formed piece as each glass must pass several quality inspections before becoming available for sale. Waterford Crystal recommends washing this glass by hand as the dishwasher ultimately removes some of the brilliance and weakens the crystal. --Cristina Vaamonde
