Product Description Enjoy your favorite iced beverages in these tall glasses from Schott Zwiesel. Your brand of vodka, a splash of fresh-squeezed juice and a colorful liqueur, served over ice with a garnish. Serve all sorts of drinks in this highball glass. The set of six glasses makes a nice addition to your home bar, and will stand up to repeated uses due to the special type of glass, titanium crystal, used to make them. Schott Zwiesel (a brand of Zwiesel Kristallglas, AG) has a 130 year history of innovation and success, including such break through developments as the first machine made stemware and the first lead-free crystal glass. With the introduction of the proprietary Tritan?? Crystal technique (the result of special additives such as titanium with a unique tempering process) Zwiesel has once again revolutionized the industry. Rigorous laboratory testing proves the brilliance, dishwasher safety, and break resistance of Tritan. Highly resistant to chipping and breaking even at its most sensitive areas - the rim and at the points where the stem joins the bowl and the foot. The glasses stand up to daily use and thousands of cycles in your dishwasher, without any blemishes or loss of brilliance.

these are really good quality glasses. Appear to be very durable as I have knocked one over on more than one occassion without it breaking.
Thin and Sturdy July 4, 2010 Jaewoo Kim (Santa Monica, CA) My first impression of these glasses when they came out of the box was that the walls (sides) were very thin. So thin, in fact, these glasses look like either cheap glasses one used to get when purchasing McDonald's happy meal or high quality stronger-than-usual glasses with a touch of elegance. These are obviousy the latter. The giveaway is their very sturdy bottom which is not thin at all.
Despite the thinness of its walls and the rim, this is supposedly a very sturdy glass because it is made of a special composite crystal containing titanium called Tritan. I have yet to drop it on hard surfaces but I saw videos a demonstrating its strength and it is impressively sturdy.
This is, at least for me, ideal size and can easily hold enough refreshments for a meal. I also use this as cocktail and beer glasses and it works well
Overall, you can't really go wrong with these high quality glasses. But I do wish the walls were a little thicker.

Love the look, but the weight of the base relative to the thickness of the wall seems to be the problem. These break regularly. I even find them busted when opening the dishwasher after an uneventful cycle. Do look good with a Mojito though!
