I was trying to find decent, reasonably priced glassware NOT made in China. So I purchased these and others that were made in the US. He seems to prefer these for special drinks and uses the others. These are fancier and work well with fine stem crystal, such as the Lenox Monroe pattern. I will probably purchase more.
