Amazon.com Review With a relaxed but hearty manner, Luigi Bormioli's Atelier stemware makes an engaging accompaniment to both traditional and contemporary entertaining. The collection offers pure lead-free crystal construction shaped into simple geometric bowls that curve out from smooth rims to a wide point below the middle before turning back in to rest on slender stems. Applied to the wine glasses, the look is both aesthetically appealing and purposefully designed to enhance the unique personality of each vintage and variety. With the wine glasses in particular, the look is both aesthetically appealing and purposefully designed to enhance the unique personalities of each vintage and variety. This set of four 9-1/2-ounce Champagne/Prosecco flutes features narrow, evenly balanced sides to maintain an ideal chill and bring out the bubbles of these highly festive wines. Like the rest of the Atelier series, the set combines the latest glass-finishing innovations with old-world Italian artistry to achieve superior, lasting quality. As a modern convenience, the glasses are sturdy enough to go into the dishwasher between uses. --Kara Karll

I purchased 2 sets of these glasses for myself, and I liked them so much that I've now bought them as gifts for several friends. The photo doesn't do them justice. The glasses are tall and elegant, and the wider mouth is preferable to that of a narrower champagne flute.
LUV, LUV, LUV this brand November 14, 2009 jag 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These glasses are sturdy, yet elegant - we use them for both champers and white wine. First time we saw them was in a neighborhood restaurant, I loved the glass so much, my girlfriend "sneaked" the glass out for me (and yes my husband was mortified) but that's how I was able to track down the brand, figured they would be far more expensive than they were. We also have red wine Luigi Bormioli glasses, another amazing product . They look and feel expensive but are super affordable and hold up in the dishwasher again and again. This brand is our little glassware secret that's fooled even our snobby wine friends!
A Really Fine $5 glass July 15, 2010 Jorge F. Reynolds 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are just the thing for our favorite $10+ tipple, Saint-Hilaire Blanquette de Limoux , to which they add just the right amount of elegance.
I find the form just right; I've allways found the usual flute looks like a 1/2 starved runway cloths horse. You will need special care washing their interiors due to the narrow mouth, but at $5per that's probably automatic.
Do note, however, that they stand about 10 inches tall! Befor you 'click-to-buy' I'd suggest you grab a ruler to remind yourself just how tall that really is.
Elegant Champagne glass June 16, 2010 R. Irvin (Virginia) We spent a weekend at this cool hotel in Paso Robles, CA for aniversary. They used these glasses. After I got the name of the manufacturer and glass from the hotel, I found these very easily on Amazon. What don't they have? They are elegant and great looking. My wife was amazed I found these and got her the exact glass from the hotel. Price was very good too. Thanks Amazon!!
