I was actually fortunate enough to find this very product at a Goodwill store; the mugs have a surprising weight to them, and the glass is quite thick (the walls are 4mm / 1/8" thick) for your standard glassware, and the heavy base proves to reduce sliding to almost nothing. I find it holds a whole 12 oz. can of sugary bevarage with ease, but don't try adding too much ice. I also use it for my hot chai, so it definitely holds up to higher temperatures. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a solid mug (actually, a great all-around glass) in their cupboard.

excellent product especially for the price. you won't better or thicker beer mugs at any store to include ebay for that price.

Been pretty happy with them. Nothing special. One of (I think) eight of them showed up with a crack in it. I think it was a manufacturer's issue as it was still sturdy and water tight. I'm still drinking out of it now. I run them in and out of the freezer and dishwasher and they hold up. I figure for the price they're pretty good. I still wish they had thumb-knobby, but didn't like any of the ones with thumb-knobbies in this price range.
I'm giving them a five for holding beer without leaking. Oh, plus one of my buddies chucked one across the street and it survived. Landed in grass/lawn, but still--props.

These are great mugs!SOLID,HEAVYDUTY.I keep a few in the freezer and with an inch or so of solid glass on the bottom and the thick handle these stay cold for a while.A 12oz. homebrew fits just right in one.Some reviews have talked about the seam on the handles,its not that bad.You'll notice it but really its not sharp or anything. For the price these are what you want to stock your home bar with.
