the product is just like the picture!
a 1.5oz shot glass with a thick solid base for a very nice price.
the quality of the product is much better then i thought i would get for the price i paid on it. seeing i just wanted some semi cheap shot glass's for when i have parties and gatherings at my house.
as for using them to measure i would not recommend it seeing you can just get a double jigger or like my self 2 shot glass's (1oz and 2oz).
shot glasses were shipped in a card board box with card board grid inside to keep them from bashing them self's during shipping... also each glass was wrapped in bubble wrap so there was no breakage.
ill defently buy more anchor hocking products when i need them.

5 out of 5 stars Cheap but does the trick!   January 19, 2010

It is a 1.5 oz shot glass and comes with 12 for only less than a dollar each. It came in nicely wrapped and not one was broken or damaged. The only thing i did not like was the labels under each shot glass which had to be peeled and rubbed off. The shot glasses have a nice feel to them with a heavy base. It will be used every time my friends and I have a party :)

PROS
Looks nice
Good feel
Nicely Packaged
1.5 oz glasses
Cheap

Cons
Sticky annoying labels on bottom of glasses
Doesn't help me save money on drinks

5 out of 5 stars Shot Glasses Built To Last   January 24, 2010

These shot glasses have withstood many long nights. They are very heavy-duty glass and to date, only one of the 12 have broken. I would recommend these shot glasses to anyone!

4 out of 5 stars good shot glass, great value   October 18, 2009

Initially four of twelve shot glasses came shattered in many many pieces. Amazon promptly resolved the situation and sent me a replacement order that was packed SO much better. As for the product itself, it's a standard shot glass that has a good heavy feel. As we all know, glass breaks so you do have to be careful. I've already broken one while doing the dishes by accidentally placing a plate on top of one with too much force.

4 out of 5 stars Inexpensive and Acceptable   January 12, 2010

I got these as part of a gift for a family member but I opened them when they arrived to check them out and ensure that they had all arrived safely.

They were well packed and none of the glasses broke during shipping. They are acceptable in terms of quality. They are very sturdy and have a very thick bottom, but if you carefully examine the glass you will find that they have several imperfections, most of which are "flat spots" in the side. These are not really noticeable unless you take the lip of the glass and roll is between your thumb and forefinger, but if you do this you can feel that they are definitely not "round".

All that being said, they are dirt cheap, I mean that you can get a dozen of these for less than the price of a pair by some other manufactures. They are solid and rugged, so great for parties or if you have rowdy friends. And again, let me stress, INEXPENSIVE, you cannot beat this price, anywhere, seriously.

I would buy these again, if I needed more shot glasses for when people come over (because honestly, if you're doing shots, no one is going to notice an imperfection in your shot glasses, except maybe that stoner kid that a friend of a friend brought with them.)
