This mug feels heavy and solid in my hand. It is a well built product and arrived in a pouch. Unlike what one reviewer suggested, the handle is NOT made of plastic. I checked mine and I am certain that it is stainless steel all the way. And I could see that the handle is spot welded to the body. I have shook and banged it quite a few times, not noticing any damage or deformity to the handle. The base is wider than the cylindrical body, which keeps it steady and not easy to tip over. Over all I am very happy with this mug. In fact I liked it so much that I got more as gifts to my friends. I highly recommend this to any beer drinkers!

Beautiful, well made and easy to clean.
Gave these as a wedding gift, and the newlyweds love them!
Best thing about the double wall design is there's no need for a coaster, even with the coldest beverage, no 'ring around the table'.

This attractively styled stainless steel mug is as good-looking as many much higher-priced authentic pewter mugs, but has the great advantage of being insulated due to its double-walled construction. It does not sweat the way that most metal vessels do and the contents stay cold longer. This is a fine application of modern manufacturing technology and materials to a traditional product.

I have been using two of these tankards for over a year now. I believe I was incorrect about the handle being plastic; the mold line on the interior of the handle near the bottom is what gave me that initial impression. My only (minor) gripe is that they are EXACTLY 16 ounce capacity; with a typical pint glass you'll have a bit of headroom (1/8-1/4" or so) to avoid a spill, but these go right to the edge. Not a big deal, but worth knowing if you tend to buy pint bottles. With that said, the construction is excellent; they're good as new since purchase. The double-wall does seem to keep beer cold longer than a refrigerated or frozen glass. I had a minor problem with my first one, but StainlessLUX went out of their way to correct it. You can't go wrong here.

Mug is nice, the finish is awesome, its almost mirror like. The product does not sweat when cold liquid is in it, however I have a hard time believing the beverage stays cold longer. (Perhaps a simple test could prove it) The reason is because the warm metal absorbs the cold. So while it doesnt sweat, it gets really cold thus defeats the purpose IMO. The handle, I dont like. Its weird to hold. All in all it looks great, but im not sure i'll be using it as often as I would have liked.
