We recently bought these to hold ice teas and assorted iced drinks. They are large enough to hold a 16oz drink with ice. They also stack nicely and don't hog cupboard space. I would recommend these to anyone looking for similar needs.
Update 09/17/2008: We've lost two glasses do to cracking on the bottom. Not sure if it's dishwasher related or something dropped in the sink. No children in our house to blame it on. :)
I would consider another product next time. 3 stars max.
Another update 07/01/09: We are down to one final glass, yes just a sole survivor. The 7 multi-racial siblings are deceased. Not sure what is splitting the bottoms, but they all died the same death. Our dishwasher is swearing it's innocent, no kids around, so it must be the DW or my wife. Maybe a conspiracy? Anyway, I would keep looking for drinkware even though these seem right for the job, they aren't constructed well enough to live a very long life. Zero stars! No moons! Only a black hole on the shelf once occupied many colorful drinking recepticles.

We have had these for over two years, and they have worn really well.
We use all 8 on a daily basis, and thy are washed everyday. We did not have any trouble with cracking or aging. I highly recommend these!

I've looked for quite a while to find dishwasher safe, attractive, wide bottomed 'glasses' and was delighted to discover these. I think they are better looking than the photo. Between the dogs and kids we are very hard on glasses and I wanted something I could put an entire can of soda in without having a metal taste or something that tipped easily. I'm very happy with these.

I have purchased these tumblers twice. The first eight are still being used in the home--for several years--and the second eight went into the RV. They meet my needs because they are nearly unbreakable, can be washed in the dishwasher and they have a nice size base which discourages tipping over.
